What this practice type covers

These tags describe the attorney's practice — the specialty, subspecialties, matter types and stages. PF's deliverables are listed separately below, because a deliverable is never a practice area.

Click any specialty, subspecialty, matter type, stage or deliverable below — we match it to the individually payable assignments for that tag, with the flat fee and a card-payment button.

Intake

What we ask, and what you upload

Intake questions

  • Which state and county (or federal district) governs the matter
  • Current stage of the matter and the internal date you need the draft back
  • Whether you are ordering a single assignment or working under a monthly plan
  • Every specialty your firm carries, so recommendations are not averaged
  • Monthly case volume and the deliverables you repeat most
  • Whether one plan will cover the whole firm or a single practice group

Required uploads

  • Signed PF Consulting Firm service agreement
  • Case caption, court, division and case number (where a case exists)
  • Any prior filings or drafts you want the deliverable to match
  • Your firm's formatting, caption and pleading-paper standards
  • Documents specific to each ordered assignment
  • Your firm's formatting and template standards
Pricing method

Flat fee per assignment from the published catalog price, confirmed in writing before payment. Volume, parties, record condition and rush timing move the assignment to the next published level rather than adding hourly charges. Firms with recurring volume should compare the monthly law firm support plans by monthly case count.

Turnaround

Standard preparation on the turnaround published on each service page; rush preparation where capacity allows, at the published rush uplift.

Revisions

Individual orders include one factual revision within the original contracted scope unless the service card states otherwise. Monthly law firm support plans include up to five revisions per case within membership scope.

What we do and do not do

Firm size is an attribute, not a legal specialty. Recommendations improve when each specialty the firm carries is selected.

  • Every deliverable is prepared for attorney review, revision and signature
  • Scope, price and turnaround are confirmed in writing before work begins
