MedSpa Launch questions
Why do I need a PLLC + MSO?
Most states bar non-physicians from owning a medical practice. A PLLC owned by the medical director (or you if licensed) handles clinical services. An MSO you own handles non-clinical operations (lease, equipment, marketing) and contracts with the PLLC.
Do I need a physician medical director if my injectors are NPs?
Yes in most states. NPs and PAs typically require a supervising or collaborating physician for aesthetic injectables.
How fast can I open?
90–120 days is the common range for a well-organized launch. Lease and buildout timing usually drive the schedule, not licensing.
