Payroll
Payroll set up correctly, registered where it must be, and documented every cycle. Required forms are resolved from your actual employee locations and counts — never assumed and never copied from another client's file.
Understand this service before you buy
Payroll is a registration problem first and a processing problem second. Every state where you have an employee requires its own withholding and unemployment accounts before the first check. Get the registrations right and the ongoing cycle is routine.
- You must register in each state where an employee physically works.
- Worker classification (W-2 vs 1099) is decided on the facts, not on preference.
- New-hire reporting and I-9 documentation are required for every employee.
- Year-end W-2 and 1099 deadlines are fixed and penalized when missed.
