Page count and record volume are the single biggest factor. A file with 40 pages and a file with 4,000 pages are not the same job.

A normal timeline costs less than a compressed one, because a compressed one displaces other scheduled work.
Revision scope
In-scope revisions are included. A change in the underlying facts or filing is re-quoted.

PF professional fees start at $330 for legal research or document support. Standard uncontested divorce preparation starts at $697, joint divorce at $1,297, child guardianship runs $897–$2,497, adult guardianship $1,297–$2,497, and probate or estate preparation $2,497–$10,497 depending on the estate. Court, filing, publication, and service costs are separate.
Why is there a range instead of one price?
Because the work is not the same in every matter. Two guardianship petitions can differ by hundreds of pages of supporting records, a second interested party, a translation requirement, or a compressed deadline. We quote after reviewing what your matter actually involves.
Are court filing fees included in your price?
No. Court fees, filing fees, publication fees, service-of-process charges, certified-copy fees, other government fees, shipping, translation, and apostille charges are never bundled into our professional fee. You pay those directly to the court, clerk, or vendor.
How much are the court filing fees?
Filing fees vary by county and matter type, and the court or clerk sets the final amount. We only publish a specific figure when we hold a current official source for it, and we still ask you to confirm the amount with the clerk before you file.
Is document preparation cheaper than hiring an attorney?
Document preparation and legal representation are different services, so they are not directly comparable, and we do not publish comparison savings figures. An attorney can advise you, decide strategy, and appear for you; we cannot. If your matter is contested or high-risk, the appropriate spend is on an attorney.
Do you charge for revisions?
In-scope revisions are included and returned within 24 to 72 hours. A change that expands the scope — new parties, a different filing, a substantially different set of facts — is quoted before we proceed.
How do you handle rush requests?
Compressed deadlines are quoted individually after we see the deadline and the record volume. We do not publish a rush price, because accepting a rush depends on whether the deadline is realistically achievable.
How does payment work?
You approve a written scope and fee before work begins, and preparation starts once payment and a complete intake are received. Official fees are paid by you directly at the time of filing.
