Utah consolidates professional licensing under the Division of Professional Licensing (DOPL) within the Department of Commerce, so physicians, PAs, APRNs, and mental-health professionals are all licensed through the same division under different boards. That means one portal and one renewal cycle to track — but also that a deficiency on one credential can stall a related application.
Utah Department of Health and Human Services licenses health-care facilities and separately administers Medicaid provider enrollment through the PRISM portal. A DOPL professional license does not enroll you with Utah Medicaid, and Medicaid enrollment does not license the facility.
