CloudsCreditRepair™ FAQ

What is a tier-1 vendor?

A tier-1 vendor is a starter supplier that issues trade credit (typically net-30) to brand-new businesses and reports to one or more business credit bureaus.

Explanation

Tier-1 vendors do not require strong credit history because the purchases are small and the risk to the vendor is low.

Stacking 3–5 tier-1 vendor accounts is the standard first step in establishing a PAYDEX® score and unlocking tier-2 access.

Examples
  • Office supply vendors
  • Janitorial supply accounts
  • Marketing/print suppliers
